GOLF IN SPAIN


According to a recent study carried out by Aymerich Golf Management (AGM) the golf industry in Spain generates 2,375 million Euros each year. This represents an increase of 252% since 1997, when there were 180 golf courses in the country. There are now 330 courses and the number continues to rise. With construction and planning of new courses underway, another 100 courses could be opened in Spain by 2010.
